CAaD

Our CAaD Artfestival is coming next week and I am SHITTING MYSELF!!!!!! It’s been a stressful journey up to now – and you know what? ITS JUST ABOUT TO GET MORE FREAKIN’ STRESSFUL. Halston opted to shoot a beautiful video in place of a runway show for their Fall 2009 line. They hired Blink / Colonel Blimp for all the heavy lifting and the girl running throughout the video is Ernest Hemingway’s great grand-daughter, Dree Hemingway. Directed by Nez Khammel.

Poster Boy

As a fly-posterrrrer artist, but I prefer to more pretencious title of “interventionist artist” or perhaps – an artist of consequence (after all I did re-evaluate briefly Lucy Lippards Dematerialization of the Art Object in relation 2 fly postering and New Media art) I think Poster Boy is over rated like Banksy. I mean come-on,Continue reading “Poster Boy”

How Very Toyko

As featured on the GC previously, the ‘How Very Tokyo’ exhibition has taken place and the prints are now available to buy here. Prints are available from contributors such as Browns, Bibliothéque, Spin, Northand Sanderson Bob to name a few. I purchased the Spin one (above top). You can also check out photos from the exhibition over at their Flickr set here.
