Well the Dialoguists are like a really small (or rather un informed, perhaps? ) version of that. (for those who don’t know http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_&_Language)
We want to re-establish the conversational collaborative discourses in contemporary art. Vague? Yes. Interesting – Most definitely!? Learning and stimulating…. you bet cha! Anyways, we’ve been running it for a while now. We were Contemporary Art as Dialogue Group (CAD) But we have a new collaborative work over summer in which we renamed / branded ourselves as the Dialoguists. The Blog is at :
I’m an idealist of some sort, not a materialist. So even if the shit hits the fan; it’s all good because we have a great time doing it. And you know? It might not be Neo-formalism or pretencions bullshit. (Could be if we wanted it to be, eazzzy.) But genuinely, caring and concerned – playful – enquires with the ‘state’ of our creation of the art and its world.
